Terms of Use

1. Acceptance

By accessing our website, downloading a game or using an online service, you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the relevant service. If you are not legally able to agree on your own, a parent or legal guardian must agree for you.

2. Licence

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to use our game for private, non-commercial entertainment, subject to these terms and the rules of the platform from which you obtained it. We and our licensors retain all rights not expressly granted.

For an Apple-distributed version, Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies except where valid custom terms provide otherwise.

3. Acceptable use

You must not:

• use cheats, automation, exploits or unauthorised software to disrupt or gain an unfair advantage in online play;
• harass, threaten, impersonate or expose personal information about another person;
• use an unlawful, offensive or misleading display name;
• interfere with servers, security controls or another player’s access;
• copy, sell, redistribute, reverse engineer or modify the service except where applicable law expressly permits it; or
• use our artwork, characters, music, code or branding commercially without written permission.

4. Online features

Online play may depend on an internet connection and may be changed, interrupted or discontinued. Room codes are not security credentials; share them only with people you intend to invite. We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect players, investigate abuse, maintain the service or comply with law.

5. No real-money gambling

Our mahjong game is for entertainment. It does not offer real-money wagering, cash prizes or a way to redeem game results for money or items of monetary value. You are responsible for complying with local age and gaming rules.

6. Updates and availability

Features, characters, rules and compatibility may change as the game develops. We may issue updates or stop supporting an older version. Pre-release and test versions may contain unfinished features, errors and service interruptions and should not be relied upon to preserve progress or availability.

7. Intellectual property and feedback

The services and their artwork, characters, names, music, text, software and other content are owned by Blue Stairway or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. If you voluntarily send us feedback, you allow us to use it without payment or restriction, but you retain ownership of any original material you submit.

8. Disclaimers and liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the services are provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from use of the services. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, without limiting any mandatory consumer protection that applies where you live. The courts of Hong Kong have non-exclusive jurisdiction over disputes relating to these terms.
